The author is now explaining how has law changed for women throw history, at first in some countries like England they gave up her name and properties when they got marriend, in the US they were property of their husbands, they could not vote or work.
They even had discrimination in laws like homicide were different for women and men.
Eventually thing started to change, women could sue thir husbands, get divorced, vote, work, but some things are still discriminating like credit cards or to obtein credit to buy a house or a car.
In my opiniion that is tolltaly wrong as is legal matters we are EQUAL we should have the same rights and obligation as men, the crimes should be equaly punished and bancs should not make a difference between men and woman.

ResponderEliminarYes! In my opinion all human are equal, and we have to be treated like we deserve, and women have the same rights not for being women, I would say the same thing about blacks, or children or poor people, they have to be treated in equal way just for being humans.
